Overthinking decisions
Recognizing when another round of research becomes another delay.

For capable, thoughtful people who spend too much time second-guessing themselves. I’m Anne, a chronic overthinker learning to trust myself, speak before overediting, and take action before confidence arrives. I’m sharing the process as I go.

My first Reel, posted before I felt ready. It’s the quickest way to see what this is and whether it’s for you.

I’m Anne Maxwell, a New Zealander and chronic overthinker who has spent years becoming exceptionally qualified at thinking things through, then thinking them through again, then calling an emergency internal board meeting to revisit the first two rounds.
These days, I’m practicing something harder: trusting myself before I have every answer.
I’m a beginner here. I’m learning to make the decision, say what I mean before I edit it to death, and show up before confidence arrives.
This is where I share what I’m learning about overthinking decisions, speaking before overediting, and showing up before confidence.
I’m not an expert with a perfect blueprint. I’m someone figuring it out in public, one decision, awkward moment and small win at a time.
Expect thoughtful observations, a little Kiwi plain speaking, honest misses, and the occasional report from the internal board.
Less second-guessing. More self-trust.— Anne
